Red Light Therapy - Photobiomodulation

Red Light therapy also now commonly referred to as ‘Photobiomodulation’, is a non-invasive light therapy healing treatment, that utilises the power of specific wavelengths of light exposed to human skin, that stimulate cellular activity into driving many beneficial pathways including:

  • Enhanced mitochondrial function – Increasing ATP production (energy) pathways to stimulate all cells into higher productivity and function.

  • Reduced inflammation – Reducing oxidative stress and free radicals

  • Faster wound healing and muscle repair

  • Overall pain reduction

  • Improved skin quality -Production of collagen and elastin.

  • Improvement in psychiatric and mental health disorders.

  • Stimulates production of beneficial molecules such as Glutathione and Nitric Oxide.

In our red light therapy bed we are facilitating a 360-degree full body treatment utilising comprehensively studied wavelengths 633nm, 660nm, 810nm, 830nm, 850nm, and 940nm.

Photobiomodulation is an extensively studied area of research boasting over 5000+ clinically published papers investigating its effects on a myriad of diseases, pathological conditions and suboptimal human conditions overall.  A simple Pubmed search for ‘Red Light Therapy’ will demonstrate how active this space is currently, and will continue to be whilst the research is pointing us in the direction of overall health and returning our bodies to states of optimal and peak performance. This is an extremely exciting area of research that is proving to be extremely beneficial to biological systems within the body.

It is recommended to do 2-3 sessions per week for best results so we have packaged into a 6 sessions discounted package, or please speak directly to Jonathon for ongoing monthly membership use.
